Serverworks to Establish First Overseas Subsidiary in Thailand
Serverworks (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Will Bring the Company's Cloud and AI Expertise to the Growing ASEAN Market
TOKYO, July 14th 2026 -- Serverworks Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ryo Ooishi; "Serverworks"or the "Company"), an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner of Amazon Web Services, Inc. ("AWS"), announced today that it will establish its first overseas subsidiary, Serverworks (Thailand) Co., Ltd. ("Serverworks Thailand"), in Thailand. The new subsidiary will apply cloud implementation and operation expertise built over 18 years in Japan's enterprise market, together with the Company's technical strength in AI and security, to expand its business in the growing ASEAN market.
Background and Objectives
Since its founding in 2008, Serverworks has supported more than 1,570 companies and 31,700 projects, primarily among Japanese enterprises, as an AWS-focused cloud integrator. In 2026, the Company ranked first in Japan for the number of engineers selected in both the "AI/ML Data Engineer" and "Security" categories of AWS Japan's "2026 Japan AWS Top Engineers" program, reflecting the Company's strong technical capabilities in generative AI and security.
Thailand is one of ASEAN's fastest-growing markets, and its government is promoting digital transformation under the "Thailand 4.0" economic model. The AWS Asia Pacific (Thailand) Region, which launched in January 2025, now gives local businesses access to secure, low-latency cloud infrastructure. Serverworks sees this as the right moment to bring its track record and expertise from Japan into the region, and has decided to expand into the Thai market.
